Privacy Policy

VELO Genesis collects only what we need to operate the civilization prototype and maintain the trust layer between stewardship and members.

When you request access, create an account, or move through onboarding, we may collect:

• Contact details you provide — name, email, phone — so we can reach you about your application, briefing, or membership standing.
• Account and profile information — display name, profile image, housing interest, district preferences, and tier status derived from your clearance.
• Usage signals — pages visited, tier checks, NDA acceptance timestamps, onboarding progress, and reservation interactions, used to keep gating consistent and prevent broken access.
• Communications you send us — form submissions, community proposals, maintenance requests, investor inquiries, and support messages.
• Device and session context — browser type, IP-derived region, and authentication tokens managed by the platform to keep your session secure.

We use your information to run VELO Genesis as a gated membership system, not as an advertising product. No data brokerage. No third-party resale.

• To evaluate access requests and manage the membership ladder — tier assignment, onboarding flow, and clearance enforcement.
• To deliver the member experience — dashboard tools, district content, housing queue, briefings, and investor materials appropriate to your clearance.
• To maintain legal compliance — recording NDA acceptance, housing interest disclosures, and invoice status where applicable.
• To communicate with you — application updates, onboarding steps, community notices, and operational changes that affect your membership.
• To secure the platform — fraud detection, abuse prevention, rate limiting, and integrity checks on the database layer.

VELO Genesis runs on managed infrastructure with row-level security on every database table. Member data is isolated by authenticated ownership. Admin access is entity-backed and logged.

We apply encryption in transit, token-based session management, and role-gated database policies. No passwords are stored in our own tables — authentication is handled by the platform auth layer with hashed credentials.

Your data resides in United States regions by default. We retain records only as long as needed for membership operations, legal obligations, or until you request deletion. Legal acceptance records and housing interest snapshots may be retained for compliance even after account deletion.

You hold rights over your personal information. VELO honors them even before regulation requires it.

• Access — you can view your profile, reservations, and acceptance status from the Account and Dashboard areas.
• Correction — update display name, phone, and housing interest directly inside Account, or contact stewardship for other corrections.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated personal data. We will remove your member profile, contact records, and preference storage subject to legal and financial retention requirements.
• Export — on request, we can provide a snapshot of your stored profile and reservations in a portable format.
• Opt-out — disable optional emails through preferences. Essential operational messages tied to your active request or membership status may still be sent.

Questions about this privacy policy, a deletion request, or a correction that cannot be completed in the product should be routed through the access channel.

This policy may be updated as VELO Genesis evolves. When material changes occur, the version and effective date will be noted here and members will be notified inside Dashboard.
